Sukhrob Karimov:
- Sincerely I congratulate all our compatriots on December 8 - Constitution Day of Uzbekistan. We made our choice by taking an active part in the referendum on amending the Basic Law, held on April 30, 2023. The changes were quickly reflected in the lives of our compatriots not only in Uzbekistan, but also abroad. We support consistent and irreversible reforms aimed at building a New Uzbekistan, which are being carried out by the head of our state.
Albina Murtaza:
– The updated Constitution of Uzbekistan literally embodies the ideas “In the name of the honor and dignity of man,” “It is not the people who serve the state, but the state to the people.” The reform policy in our country, which considers human capital as the most important resource and, accordingly, puts human dignity at the forefront, continues at an accelerated pace. The new Uzbekistan is thoroughly, firmly and successfully carrying out progressive reforms. The attitude towards our compatriots abroad has also changed; we feel even more deeply that we are under the protection of our state. Also, our updated Constitution enshrines the legal basis for women’s education and employment, their active participation in public life and government. We take this opportunity to sincerely congratulate our compatriots on the 33rd anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution.
Bonu Ali:
– I am glad to participate in the event organized in Karachi on the occasion of Constitution Day of Uzbekistan. The Constitution is a legal and political document that is the basis for the development of any state - the Basic Law of the country. As is known, the new edition of the Constitution of Uzbekistan was adopted by popular vote in a referendum held in Uzbekistan on April 30, 2023. It should be recognized that the changes made to our Constitution also take into account the interests of compatriots abroad. This norm, enshrined in the new edition of the Constitution of Uzbekistan, places responsibility on every citizen, including compatriots abroad.
Congratulations to our compatriots, including those abroad, on Constitution Day!
