The first energy facilities of New Tashkent are being built
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev inspected the energy facilities being built on the territory of New Tashkent.
Modern trigeneration technology allows you to simultaneously provide heating and cooling to the city, using half the energy than traditional sources. In conventional heating plants or cooling systems, the production processes are carried out separately. In trigeneration, they are all combined on the basis of a single technological chain.
Currently, in New Tashkent, the construction of the main buildings and structures of a station based precisely on such technologies is underway. The main equipment required for the project fully complies with international energy efficiency requirements.
The first stage of the project provides for the creation of a capacity of 75 megawatts for heating, 100 megawatts for cooling. The generation of 17 megawatts of electrical energy will also be established.
The first substation of New Tashkent has a capacity of 100 megawatts, which is enough to meet the initial needs of the city. The project is being implemented on the basis of a public-private partnership with the participation of the Chinese company “Haocheng Industry Group Limited”.
It is noteworthy that this is the first closed substation in Uzbekistan.
Such facilities have a number of advantages over traditional open substations. First of all, they are designed in such a way that they fit into the urban environment and are located where they do not disrupt the architectural appearance. In addition, the noise level at such substations is half that of traditional ones. In addition, they take up three times less space than open-type objects. This represents a huge advantage for a city with a complex engineering concept, such as the New Tashkent under construction.
During the inspection of these facilities, the President especially emphasized their technical capabilities, economic efficiency and strategic importance for New Tashkent, and gave recommendations for an even more efficient organization of work, rapid and high-quality implementation of the next stages.
