Tomorrow, April 11, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev will pay a working visit to Uzbekistan.
The program for the stay in Bukhara includes high-level talks. Issues related to the development of relations between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, including friendship, strategic partnership, and alliance, will be discussed. Particular attention will be given to strengthening political dialogue, as well as interparliamentary, intergovernmental, and interregional ties.
The leaders will also discuss ways to increase trade turnover, deepen industrial cooperation, advance joint projects and programs in transport, energy, and the water and environmental sectors, and intensify cultural and humanitarian exchange.
Views will be exchanged on international and regional agenda issues.
A joint visit to historical sites is planned, along with an overview of industrial enterprises’ activities and an exhibition of goods.
Today, the Head of State will become familiar with the ongoing work and prospective projects for the socio-economic development of Bukhara region.
