President Shavkat Mirziyoyev became familiar with the conditions at the IT Park in Fergana.
The complex was built in accordance with the instructions given by the Head of State during his visit in August 2024. It was constructed with state budget funds totaling 150 billion UZS and can accommodate up to 200 people at a time. The facility provides opportunities to train and engage more than 3,000 young people annually in practical projects and to deliver IT services.
The center has established a modern co-working environment for freelancers and programmers, and fully equipped offices have been set up for resident companies. Educational, production, and service processes are integrated here. As noted, the infrastructure created expands opportunities for youth self-employment and helps them earn a stable income.
It was emphasized that in recent years, the volume of IT services in Fergana region has increased fourfold, and exports have exceeded $23 million. Currently, the number of residents at the IT Park in the region has reached 139. In 2025, exports of IT services amounted to $22.7 million.
Within the framework of the new IT Park, plans are in place to increase the number of residents to 200, create 700 new jobs, expand the volume of services, and achieve $30 million in exports.
In the future, an artificial intelligence technology hub is planned to be established based on this complex, and projects to digitalize management systems are planned for implementation. In addition, modern educational courses in AI, programming, graphic design, computer literacy, and English are planned for launch. Venture financing, grants, and acceleration programs will be introduced for startups.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with the park’s residents and young people working in information technology. The initiatives and ideas they put forward were supported.
