The priority tasks of the joint stock company “Uzbekneftegaz” for the future are considered
In this regard, the Uzbekneftegaz joint-stock company has been tasked with radically increasing productivity in the industry and introducing modern approaches.
It is noted that in 2025 the company's enterprises were 25.2 billion cubic meters of natural gas were produced, 56 new wells were drilled, 29 wells were overhauled.
In 2026-2027, it is planned to ensure stable volumes of natural gas production, as well as the implementation of more than 300 geological and technical measures.
The presentation provides information on the priority tasks that need to be solved to achieve the indicated indicators.
In particular, special attention will be paid to increasing the efficiency of geological exploration and geological and technical activities, increasing reserves and ensuring stability of production volumes, as well as improving the procurement procedures.
In addition, it is planned to implement measures to create a value chain through deep gas processing, the production of import-substituting and export-oriented products, as well as the financial recovery of society and its enterprises.
It was noted that the company's activities will prioritize increasing operational efficiency, including ensuring financial stability through the withdrawal of non-core assets, termination of sponsorship payments and cost optimization.
The priority areas of the company's activities also include the digitalization of production processes and the widespread introduction of artificial intelligence technologies, strengthening the internal control and compliance system, supervision of the movement of financial assets, as well as prevention of corruption and conflicts of interest.
The head of our state instructed to ensure the implementation of the assigned tasks and all planned activities based on accurate calculations, strict discipline and personal responsibility.
The presentation also touched upon man-made situations occurring during geological exploration, including in the Surkhandarya region. It is emphasized that such cases are a natural part of the complex processes of searching for new promising deposits and occur in world practice. It was noted that in our country the necessary measures are being taken in such situations.
The President instructed those in charge to pay special attention to strengthening continuous monitoring in the territories of geological research, introducing modern control technologies, as well as ensuring the safety of the population.
