The Presidents of Uzbekistan and Russia discussed current issues of bilateral cooperation
A meeting between the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin took place in Beijing.
At the beginning of the conversation, the leader of Russia warmly congratulated the head of our state and the multinational people of Uzbekistan on Independence Day, wishing well-being, sustainable development and prosperity.
Issues of further expansion and strengthening of Uzbek-Russian relations of comprehensive strategic partnership and alliance were considered in the context of the practical implementation of agreements reached during previous contacts at the highest level.
The importance of taking coordinated measures aimed at maintaining the dynamics of trade, economic and investment cooperation was emphasized.
Particular attention was paid to accelerating the preparation and implementation of projects in priority sectors of the economy, stimulating cooperative ties between regions, including within the framework of established joint industrial parks.
Noted with deep satisfaction fruitful humanitarian interaction, primarily in the field of culture, art, science and education.
The leaders of Uzbekistan and Russia also exchanged views on issues of the international agenda.
