The President of Uzbekistan met with the Speaker of the National Assembly of Hungary
On May 20, as part of the official visit to Budapest, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with the Speaker of the National Assembly of Hungary Laszlo Köver.
Issues of further development of the Uzbek-Hungarian strategic partnership relations, including through parliaments, were considered.
The intensity of mutual visits and meetings of parliamentary delegations of the two countries was noted with satisfaction. In April of this year, Vice-Speaker of the National Assembly Janos Latorzai took part in the 150th anniversary Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union in the city of Tashkent. By the end of the year, visits to Uzbekistan will be held by the Deputy Speaker and the head of the Economic Committee of the Hungarian Parliament, as well as the parliamentary delegation of our country in Budapest.
Particular attention is paid to the importance of promoting the implementation of signed agreements, intensifying the work of friendship groups, establishing contacts between relevant committees, primarily for the exchange of legislative experience in the field of regional development, social protection, taxation and digitalization.
