During a telephone conversation on May 17, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev warmly congratulated the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on his birthday, sincerely wishing great success in responsible government activities for the sake of the well-being and prosperity of the fraternal Kazakh people.
Current issues of further development and strengthening of Uzbek-Kazakh relations of good neighborliness, strategic partnership and alliance were discussed.
The schedule of upcoming bilateral meetings and multilateral events was considered.
Particular attention is paid to the continuation of work on the formation of a new agenda of bilateral practical cooperation, covering such priority areas as trade, industrial cooperation, efficient logistics, agriculture, tourism, education, cultural exchange.
