The President of Uzbekistan will make an official visit to Turkey
The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, at the invitation of the President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan, will visit this country on January 29 with an official visit.
The program of the stay in Ankara provides for the holding of the fourth meeting of the Strategic Cooperation Council chaired by the heads of the two states.
The focus is on the further expansion of the Uzbek-Turkish comprehensive strategic partnership.
Particular attention will be paid to the development of political dialogue, increasing volumes trade turnover, promoting cooperation projects in priority sectors of the economy, strengthening transport connectivity.
Issues of continuing active cultural and humanitarian exchange will also be considered. There will be an exchange of views on current aspects of the international and regional agenda.
