The President of Uzbekistan held a meeting with participants of the General Assembly of the Olympic Council of Asia
The leader of our country expressed gratitude for the decision to hold the assembly in Tashkent, noting the high level of trust in Uzbekistan as a reliable partner in international sports movement.
It was noted that the development of sports is identified as one of the priority areas within the framework of the Strategy "Uzbekistan - 2030".
The readiness of the Uzbek side to further strengthen cooperation with international sports organizations, implement joint programs and initiatives focused on achieving practical results was emphasized.
At the end of the event, for his significant contribution to the development of sports and strengthening international sports cooperation, the President of our country presented the Director General of the Olympic Council of Asia, President of the World Aquatics Federation, Hussein al-Musallam, with a high state award - the Order of “Dustlik” of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
