The President of Uzbekistan held a meeting with the heads of leading companies in China
On September 2, as part of the business program of the official visit to the PRC, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting with the heads of leading companies in this country.
The event was attended by the heads of China Gold, China Coal Resources, China Datang Corporation, Tianjin Rail Transit Group, Poly Changda, Tianjin Urban Construction, Jinchuan Group, China Synfuels, Jinchuan, ST Wonderful, Mizuda, World Agriculture, Dongzhu Ecology and other companies.
The head of our state noted with satisfaction the traditionally high interest of Chinese business in Uzbekistan. Last year alone, the volume of investments exceeded $10 billion.
During the meeting, prospects for the implementation of cooperation projects in the fields of energy, geology, agriculture and water management, the chemical, jewelry industry, modernization of public transport, infrastructure development and tourism were considered.

As part of the business program of the official visit to China, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received in Beijing the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the companyChinaNationalBuildingMaterials (CNBM) Zhou Yuxian.
Chinese CNBM is among the top 500 companies in the world, being one of the largest conglomerates in the field of production of building materials, development of renewable energy, provision of engineering and technical solutions.
The company's plans for the implementation of such promising projects as modernization of pumping stations, construction of wind and solar power plants, energy storage systems, as well as localization of the production of components for alternative energy facilities were considered. Particular attention is paid to the participation of a Chinese company in a program to improve the energy efficiency of industrial enterprises.
To accelerate and practically implement the agreements reached, it was instructed to adopt a separate “road map”.

China National Petroleum Corporation is one of the largest global energy companies that specializes in the implementation of high-tech projects for the production and processing of hydrocarbons both domestically and in foreign markets. The company's market capitalization exceeds $200 billion.
During the meeting, it was emphasized that CNPC's direct investments in our country have already exceeded $5 billion.
Plans were considered to expand the portfolio of investment cooperation with the Chinese company and promote projects for the construction of underground natural gas storage facilities, modernization of infrastructure, introduction of modern metrological standards and innovative solutions.

The next item in the business program of the visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Beijing was negotiations with the Chairman of China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC) Shen Yanfen.
China National Nuclear Corporation is the largest state-owned enterprise in the field of civil nuclear programs. The company carries out a full cycle of projects from uranium exploration and enrichment to the construction of nuclear power plants in China and abroad.
At the beginning of the meeting, the head of our state congratulated the chairman and the entire CNNC team on the 70th anniversary of the Chinese nuclear industry.
Issues of implementing promising projects in Uzbekistan were discussed. Particular attention was paid to the participation of the Chinese company in the transfer of modern technologies and the development of uranium deposits, carrying out geological exploration in promising areas, as well as expanding cooperation in the field of peaceful nuclear energy.

As one of the leading Chinese companies in the field of energy and infrastructure development, Henan Investment carries out projects in the fields of construction, industry, energy, ecology and healthcare. The company's assets exceed $50 billion.
The practical aspects of the implementation of cooperation projects in Uzbekistan related to the introduction of advanced technological solutions in the development of coal deposits, the design and construction of modern power plants, energy storage systems, the production of bioproducts, waste processing with the production of clean energy were discussed.
The head of our state instructed to accept a separate “road map” to ensure the timely implementation of projects with the participation of a Chinese company.
