The President of Uzbekistan took part in the business forum of the Dialogue “Central Asia + Japan”
Current issues of the development of trade and economic cooperation between Central Asia and Japan, attracting Japanese investments and advanced technologies to the region, expanding industrial cooperation, strengthening direct contacts between business circles.
Joint economic projects were presented.
These include such Uzbek-Japanese investment initiatives as the construction by Sumitomo, Chubu Electric Power, Shikoku Electric Power with the support of JBIC and NEXI of two solar power plants in Uzbekistan, modernization
IT infrastructure with the participation of Toyota Tsusho, the creation of a multidisciplinary medical center by Sojitz, as well as the development of new deposits of critical minerals with the participation of JOGMEC.
In the presence of the leaders, a ceremonial exchange of documents on relevant projects took place.
