The President of Uzbekistan received the Russian Foreign Minister
On April 23 in the city of Samarkand, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the delegation of the Russian Federation led by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Lavrov, who is staying in our country with a worker visit.
At the beginning of the meeting, the distinguished guest conveyed sincere greetings and best wishes to the head of our state from the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
During the conversation, topical issues of further strengthening the Uzbek-Russian relations of friendship, comprehensive strategic partnership and alliance in the context of the practical implementation of agreements at the summit were discussed level.
Active contacts and fruitful exchanges in all areas were noted with satisfaction. Trade turnover and investment volumes are growing. Cooperation between regions and leading industrial enterprises is intensifying. Cooperation in the field of culture, art, science, education, healthcare, sports and tourism is expanding.
An exchange of views also took place on aspects of the regional and international agenda of mutual interest.
