The President of Uzbekistan received the French delegation
The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the Minister of Transport of the French Republic Philippe Tabarot, who arrived in Tashkent to participate in the Investors Forum on November 27 Trans-Caspian corridor.
At the beginning of the meeting, the distinguished guest conveyed warm greetings and best wishes to the head of our state from the President of the French Republic Emmanuel Macron.
Issues of further deepening the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and France, primarily in the transport and logistics sector, were considered in the context of the agreements reached during the historical high-level visit to Paris in March this year.
Particular attention was paid to increasing cooperation in the field of civil aviation, training highly qualified specialists in the field of transport, including on the basis of the Uzbek-French University created the day before.
