The President of Uzbekistan will take part in the events of the 80th session of the UN General Assembly in New York
On September 20-24, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will make a working visit to New York City to participate in the events of the anniversary 80th General Assembly UN.
According to the press service of the head of our state, the President of Uzbekistan will make a report on the first day of the general debates of the plenary session of the UN General Assembly.
It should be noted that during the current anniversary session of the General Assembly, current issues of ensuring global security and stability, achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, reforming the UN system and international financial architecture, combating consequences of climate change and other modern challenges.
On the sidelines of the summit, the leader of Uzbekistan will hold negotiations with UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres, heads of foreign states and governments, heads of reputable international financial institutions.
As part of the business part of the program of his stay in the United States, meetings and events are planned with the participation of leading American companies and financial and investment structures. A package of new agreements and contracts is expected to be signed.
