The President of Uzbekistan congratulated the President of Kyrgyzstan on his birthday
During a telephone conversation on December 6, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev warmly congratulated President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov on the day birth, sincerely wishing him good health, well-being and further prosperity to the brotherly people of Kyrgyzstan.
Practical aspects of further deepening the Uzbek-Kyrgyz relations of strategic partnership, friendship and good neighborliness were discussed.
The progress achieved in recent years in bilateral cooperation was noted with particular satisfaction. Contacts continue at all levels. Trade turnover and cargo transportation volumes are growing steadily. Joint projects are being implemented in priority sectors of the economy. Active cultural, humanitarian and interregional exchanges are being carried out.
Work is underway on the practical implementation of major strategic projects, including the construction of the Uzbekistan-Kyrgyzstan-China railway and Kambarata HPP-1.
