During a telephone conversation on June 29, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev warmly congratulated the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on his birthday, sincerely wishing him good health, family happiness and prosperity, peace and prosperity of fraternal Turkmenistan.

Important cooperation projects are being implemented, including the completion of the construction of the Shavat-Dashoguz border trade zone. There is an active cultural and humanitarian exchange. The next meeting of the joint Intergovernmental Commission, the Interregional Forum and the Business Council is planned.
Current aspects of regional interaction were also considered, including preparations for the upcoming seventh Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia in Tashkent in September this year.
