The President of Uzbekistan emphasized the importance of expanding practical cooperation with Kyrgyzstan
As part of the Tashkent Investment Forum program, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers - the head of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic Adylbek Kasymaliev.
At the beginning of the conversation, Adylbek Kasymaliev conveyed sincere greetings and best wishes to the head of our state from the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov.
Issues of further deepening Uzbek-Kyrgyz relations were considered friendship and comprehensive strategic partnership, increasing trade volumes, expanding industrial cooperation, as well as intensifying interregional contacts and cultural and humanitarian exchange.
Particular attention is paid to accelerating large regional projects in the field of energy and transport communications, including the construction of the Kambarata hydroelectric station-1 and the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway.
The importance of the fruitful holding of the upcoming regular meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission and the Council of Regional Heads this year was emphasized.
