President of Uzbekistan emphasizes the importance of expanding practical cooperation with Kyrgyzstan

The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Head of the Administration of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Adylbek Kasymaliev, who arrived in Uzbekistan to participate in the 5th Tashkent International Investment Forum.

The distinguished guest conveyed to the President of Uzbekistan sincere greetings and kind wishes from the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov.

Special focus was given to implementing the agreements reached between the two countries’ leaders across sectors such as trade, economy, transport, water, and energy. Additionally, efforts were made to advance cultural and humanitarian initiatives and facilitate interregional exchanges.

The need to develop new project initiatives for the upcoming meetings of the Intergovernmental Commission, the Business Council, and other partnership mechanisms was highlighted, with the aim of enriching the agenda for bilateral cooperation and upcoming high-level events.
