The President of Uzbekistan emphasized the importance of full-scale implementation of the Uzbek-Emirati agreements at the highest level
The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the delegation of the United Arab Emirates led by the Minister of Energy and Infrastructure Suheil al-Mazroui.
At the beginning of the meeting, the minister conveyed sincere greetings and best wishes to the head of our state from the President of the UAE Sheikh Mohammad Al Nahyan, the Prime Minister and Emir of Dubai Sheikh Mohammad Al Maktoum and Vice President Sheikh Mansour Al Nahyan.
Issues of further expansion were considered practical interaction in priority areas based on the adopted “road map”.
The historical results of the visit of the President of Uzbekistan to the UAE in January of this year were noted with particular satisfaction, during which the multifaceted relations between the two countries rose to the level of strategic partnership.
The volume of mutual trade, the number of joint ventures and direct flights are steadily growing. The portfolio of projects with the participation of leading Emirati companies amounts to about $20 billion.
Particular attention is paid to promoting cooperation projects in “green” energy, the electrical industry, agriculture, and modernization of water, utilities and transport infrastructure in the regions of Uzbekistan.
Issues of preparation for upcoming ones are also considered events at the highest level.
