The President of Uzbekistan emphasized the importance of further development of innovative partnership with the UAE
The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the delegation of the United Arab Emirates led by the Minister of Government Affairs Muhammad bin on November 28 Abdullah al-Gergawi.
At the beginning of the meeting, the minister conveyed to the head of our state the sincere greetings and best wishes of the President of the UAE Sheikh Muhammad Al Nahyan and the Vice President and Prime Minister of the country, the Emir of Dubai Sheikh Muhammad Al Maktoum.
Issues of further strengthening Uzbek-UAE relations of friendship and strategic partnership, the practical implementation of the agreements of the high-level visit to the UAE in January this year.
It was emphasized with deep satisfaction that in recent years, over 300 initiatives have been implemented with the UAE government in more than 40 areas, including such important programs as “Government Accelerator”, “One Million Programmers” and “Young Leaders”.
The need to ensure full-scale implementation of the adopted new five-year program of mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of improving the efficiency of public administration was noted.
Particular attention was paid to joint plans to introduce the best practices of the UAE in reducing bureaucracy, training 5 million prompt engineers in the field of artificial intelligence and also promoting the “Young Generation” and “Book” projects challenge."
An agreement was also reached on thorough preparations for upcoming high-level events.
At the end of the meeting, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Minister Muhammad al-Gergawi got acquainted with the exhibition dedicated to the history of Uzbek-Emirati relations.
