The President of Uzbekistan noted the importance of further expanding practical cooperation with Georgia
As part of the program of a working visit to Turkmenistan, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze.
Issues of further expanding mutually beneficial cooperation in the trade-economic, transport-logistics and cultural-humanitarian spheres were considered.
The results of the practical implementation of the agreements reached during the visit of the Prime Minister of Georgia to Uzbekistan in March of this year were noted with satisfaction.
Active activities continue interdepartmental contacts, meetings of heads of foreign policy departments and ministers of economics were held. The volume of trade turnover and cargo transportation, the number of joint projects and enterprises are growing.
The importance of taking coordinated measures to increase mutual supplies, promote cooperation projects in agriculture, textile, electrical engineering, pharmaceutical, food industries, as well as in the field of logistics was noted.
