The issues of developing a multifaceted partnership with UN institutions, in particular with the office of the Special Representative in the field of protection of rights, were considered. freedoms and legitimate interests of children.
The Special Representative highly appreciated the effective reforms of the leader of Uzbekistan in the field of protecting children from all forms of violence, the return of women and children from conflict zones, as well as the eradication of child labor.
The importance of developing cooperation in the development of international legal acts on the rights of the child, improving legislation and the activities of national institutions for the protection of rights was noted children.
The issues of holding a regional conference on the prevention of violence against children in Tashkent and a round table on familiarization with the practical experience of Uzbekistan at the UN headquarters were also considered.
