Franklin Templeton is one of the largest global asset management and investment services companies. It has more than
100 offices in 30 countries. The company's market capitalization exceeds US$12 billion. Manages assets worth over 1.6 trillion US dollars.
A joint investment fund has been created with Franklin Templeton, work is underway to transform strategic state-owned enterprises and place their shares on global stock markets.
An agreement was reached on expert assistance in developing the potential of the Tashkent Stock Exchange, including strengthening the independence and transparency of the regulator, creating mechanisms to protect the rights of investors in the stock market, attracting large international custodians and introducing digital platforms.
Interest was noted in implementing programs to improve efficiency and bring large state-owned enterprises to IPO.
The company’s experience will also be involved in transforming state-owned enterprises with an emphasis on increasing human resources, introducing green economy standards and increasing efficiency.
The importance of careful joint preparation of the Investor Day in October this year in Tashkent was emphasized.
