The President of Uzbekistan was awarded the Order “For Contribution to the Development of Cooperation”
As part of the events of the Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries, a solemn ceremony was held to present the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev with the Order Turkmenistan “For contribution to the development of cooperation.”
The head of our state expressed deep gratitude to the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the fraternal Turkmen people for the high state award.
- “I perceive this award as a sign of special attention and respect for Uzbekistan and its multinational people, recognition of our common efforts to strengthen relations of friendship, good neighborliness, mutual trust and partnership in the Central Asian region,” the head of our state emphasized.
The highest level of Uzbek-Turkmen strategic partnership relations, based on rich historical experience, traditions of brotherhood and mutual respect, was noted with satisfaction.
In recent years, important economic and humanitarian projects have been implemented, the volume of mutual trade and the scale of cooperation have increased dramatically.
The leader of Uzbekistan specifically noted the contribution of Arkadag and all heads of state in the region to promoting cooperation in Central Asia. It was emphasized that today the entire international community recognizes the common success in building a new model of regional partnership and identity.
In conclusion, the head of our state, once again thanking for the high award, congratulated the brotherly Turkmen people on the UN Conference taking place these days and wished a successful global summit in Ashgabat this December within the framework of the International Year of Peace and Trust.
