President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the Chirchik aircraft repair plant
The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the Chirchik aviation repair shop on January 13, at the end of an extended meeting of the Security Council plant.
The head of state got acquainted with the results of large-scale modernization of the enterprise and the activities of new high-tech divisions.
On the basis of the plant, the only service center for Airbus helicopters in the CIS and our region was created.
The center was officially certified by the French company Airbus, thereby confirming the high level of organization of production activities, as well as compliance with international standards and established manufacturer requirements. It has a full cycle of technical service and repair of modern Western aircraft, including helicopters of the H-125, H-215 and H-130 models.
The center allows Uzbekistan to become a key regional hub for the maintenance and operation of Airbus helicopters.
The head of state got acquainted with the capabilities of the center and talked with specialists.
Here the President was presented with the activities of the updated factory workshops for the overhaul and deep modernization of Su-25 military aircraft. Thanks to the introduction of advanced technologies, the enterprise is now equipping its equipment with modern navigation systems, night vision devices and on-board self-defense systems.
Following the visit, the President set tasks for further strengthening the potential of the country's military-industrial complex.
