President Shavkat Mirziyoyev inspected the military equipment production facilities
The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited a technology park in the city of Chirchik, where he got acquainted with the activities of enterprises defense industry.
Here, the production of armored and special equipment, as well as several types of remotely controlled combat modules, distinguished by advanced functionality and technical characteristics has been established.
These solutions ensure the destruction of moving and stationary targets, including in conditions of limited visibility, and are equipped with automated control systems, stabilization, optical and acoustic surveillance, and also with modern guidance means.
The head of our state was presented with information about the production cycle, including the assembly of main components, installation of optical-electronic and stabilization systems, software configuration and tightness control, integration of weapons and complex testing. The final stage is the installation of ready-made modules on samples of light armored vehicles and their testing in field conditions.
Combat modules are designed to equip various platforms, including light armored vehicles, special vehicles, boats and armored personnel carriers.
The project is being implemented in cooperation with a number of foreign and domestic partners, as well as with the participation of relevant departments and industrial enterprises of the country.
All this contributes to increasing the output of high-tech products, creating jobs and forming their own industrial and technological base at the enterprises of the domestic defense industry.
The head of state emphasized the importance of strict compliance with the requirements for quality and reliability of products, the consistent expansion of localization, the development of engineering competencies and the deepening of industrial cooperation, giving appropriate instructions to those responsible structures.
