The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan met with the Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of Japan
As part of the official visit to the city of Tokyo, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with the Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of Japan Fukushiro Nukaga.
Were considered issues of further strengthening the Uzbek-Japanese strategic partnership relations and building up multifaceted cooperation, including through parliaments.
The intensity of mutual visits and meetings of parliamentary delegations of the two countries was noted with deep satisfaction. Friendship groups are active in parliaments. In May, the next interparliamentary forum was successfully held in Tokyo.
The importance of establishing interaction between relevant parliamentary committees, local councils of people's deputies and prefectural assemblies of Japan, as well as the exchange of legislative experience in the field of digital technologies and artificial intelligence, was noted.
