The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan took part in the solemn military parade in Beijing
On September 3, as part of the official visit to Beijing, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev took part in a solemn military parade in honor of the 80th anniversary of the Victory in World War II war, held in Tiananmen Square.
The event was attended by leaders and representatives of more than twenty states, including the leaders of Russia, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Iran, Vietnam, Egypt, as well as other countries.
In his speech Chinese President Xi Jinping emphasized the importance of respecting historical memory, preserving peace and ensuring justice in modern conditions.
45 units of the People's Liberation Army of China took part in the parade. The latest examples of missile systems, tanks, aircraft and unmanned aerial vehicles produced by the Chinese military-industrial complex were presented.
Similar parades have been taking place in Beijing since 1949, and the last grand review of the armed forces took place on October 1, 2019 and attracted about 15 thousand participants.
The participation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the ceremonial events in Beijing was another confirmation of the consistent foreign policy line of our country, aimed at strengthening friendship and mutual understanding between peoples, as well as developing constructive dialogue at the regional and global levels in the name of peace, sustainable development and prosperity.

On August 31 in Tianjin, the head of our state together with his wife took part in informal events of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit at the convention center "Meijiang".
On September 1, the leader of Uzbekistan participated in the regular meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the SCO and the meeting in the "SCO Plus" format, during which he put forward a number of initiatives to further strengthen multilateral cooperation and improve the activities of the organization.
On September 2, negotiations were held in Beijing with the Chairman of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping with the participation of officials delegations. As a result of the meeting, a solid package of bilateral documents was signed in priority areas of practical cooperation.
A meeting was held with the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, at which the leaders discussed current issues of bilateral cooperation.
The head of our state also held fruitful meetings with the Prime Minister of China Li Qiang, heads of foreign delegations and business representatives circles of China.
On September 3, the President of Uzbekistan took part in the Victory Parade held in Beijing on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II.
At the end of the visit, the head of our state flew to Tashkent. Chinese officials saw off the distinguished guests at the airport.
