The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan received the Ambassador of Saudi Arabia
The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Yusuf on December 29 al-Utaybi, completing his diplomatic mission in our country.
The head of state especially noted the fruitful activities and personal contribution of the Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to the development and strengthening of Uzbek-Saudi relations of comprehensive partnership.
The established systematic dialogue and active contacts at different levels were noted with satisfaction. The volume of trade turnover, direct investment and the number of joint ventures are growing dynamically. The portfolio of projects with leading Saudi companies has exceeded $27 billion.
Projects and initiatives are being implemented in the field of green energy, agriculture, healthcare, infrastructure development and other priority areas.
Cultural and humanitarian exchange has intensified.
The Days were held in October this year with great success culture of Uzbekistan in Saudi Arabia. Our country took part in the International Book Exhibition in Riyadh.
The Leader of Uzbekistan conveyed words of gratitude to the Government of Saudi Arabia for the favorable conditions created for our citizens to perform Hajj and Umrah.
At the end of the meeting, the President of Uzbekistan for his great contribution to strengthening Uzbek-Saudi relations of friendship and multilateral partnership presented Yusuf al-Utaybi with the Order of Dustlik.
The Ambassador expressed deep gratitude to the leader of our country for the high appreciation of his diplomatic mission, and also thanked him for his full support for the development of full-scale cooperation between Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia.
