The President visited a modern clinic in the Almazar district
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the activities of the multidisciplinary medical center “Sinomed” in the Almazar district.
At a meeting with medical and pharmaceutical workers on November 10 last year, the head of our state noted that 30 percent of medical services are provided by the private sector, and support for the private sector in the field of medicine and the creation of additional conditions will continue.
In accordance with these goals, ample opportunities are being created for the activities of multidisciplinary medical centers.
The multidisciplinary medical center is located in the Almazar district The Sinomed center today provides services in all relevant areas, such as obstetrics, pediatrics, surgery, traumatology, orthopedics, endocrinology and others.
The center was built at a cost of 30 million dollars, and modern medical equipment was imported from the UK, Italy, Japan and Germany.
The clinic functions as a diagnostic, and inpatient departments. The center is capable of receiving up to 4,500 patients annually. More than 300 jobs have been created here, and over 80 doctors work here. More than 60 specialists underwent advanced training abroad, in particular in South Korea, Germany, Turkey, India, Japan and the USA. In addition, the clinic employs foreign specialists.
The first private maternity complex in Tashkent, capable of simultaneously serving 30 women, was opened within the center’s structure. In the future, it is planned to expand the number of beds. The clinic also provides vaccinations and preventive examinations for children.
The clinic has created call centers and specialized visiting teams. There are also opportunities to conduct examinations of patients at home.
In addition, the largest private vaccination center in the republic is organized here, as well as the only sterilization center in the private sector.
The head of our state got acquainted with the services provided in the multidisciplinary medical center, as well as with the conditions created for patients, including outpatient rooms.
In addition, in the field of motherhood and childhood, the head of our state got acquainted with the systemic procedures prepared for women from pregnancy to childbirth and the postpartum period.
– Obstetric service, prenatal care are some of the most important issues. Childbirth, especially the birth of the first child, should not be stressful for a woman. If she regularly undergoes medical examinations and receives timely treatment, she develops an understanding of self-care, healthy motherhood and childhood,” the President noted.
The head of our state talked with the kids playing on the playground organized in the multidisciplinary center.
- Our main achievement is that doctors like you implement the acquired knowledge in our country. It should be noted that when introducing private medicine, it is important to remember competition. People will have a choice when there is competition. If the number of private medical centers increases, the population will be able to receive quality services that correspond to the funds spent on treatment,” the head of state noted in a conversation with the clinic team.
