President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has concluded the extensive program of his state visit to the Kyrgyz Republic and his participation in the informal Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia and Azerbaijan.

At Issyk-Kul Airport, the President and the First Lady of Uzbekistan were seen off by President Sadyr Japarov and the First Lady of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During the visit, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev held talks with his Kyrgyz counterpart in a narrow format and in an expanded format with the participation of official delegations. The discussions focused on further strengthening the comprehensive strategic partnership, expanding trade, industrial cooperation, transport connectivity, water and energy cooperation, and cultural and humanitarian ties.
The most significant outcome of the summit was the signing of the Treaty on Allied Relations, elevating bilateral cooperation to the highest level. An agreement was also reached to establish an Interstate Council.
The two sides also exchanged a substantial package of documents covering the state border, social protection and pension provision, higher education, mutual travel of citizens, culture, tourism, and the agro-industrial sector.
Specific measures were identified to increase bilateral trade to $3 billion, implement new industrial cooperation projects, develop infrastructure along the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway, and accelerate the implementation of the Kambarata HPP-1 project.
As part of the visit, a ceremony was held to present President Shavkat Mirziyoyev with the Order of Manas, First Class, the highest state award of the Kyrgyz Republic.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev also took part in the informal Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia and Azerbaijan. He presented Uzbekistan’s vision for the priorities of regional cooperation, including strengthening its institutional foundations, expanding trade and transport connectivity, developing digital services, education, science and innovation, jointly addressing climate challenges, and broadening humanitarian exchanges.
As part of the program, the leaders attended the opening of Kyrgyzstan's first international-standard golf club, the new five-star Baku Hotel, and the Grand Prix of Kyrgyzstan in powerboating on Lake Issyk-Kul.
