As part of his visit to Bishkek, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev attended the opening ceremony of the sixth World Nomad Games.
As part of his visit to Bishkek, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev attended the opening ceremony of the sixth World Nomad Games.
The event, held at Bishkek Arena, was attended by leaders of SCO member states and other invited guests.
More than 3,000 athletes from over 90 countries are taking part in the Games, including representatives of Uzbekistan. Uzbek athletes will compete in kurash, sambo, arm wrestling, archery, equestrian sports, and other events.
The guests were presented with a theatrical performance showcasing the rich culture and history, traditions and customs of nomadic peoples.
