The order was presented to the President of Uzbekistan by the President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić for his outstanding contribution to strengthening the multifaceted relations between Uzbekistan and Serbia.
Expressing deep gratitude for the high honor, the Leader of Uzbekistan emphasized that he regards it as a symbol of the Serbian people’s profound respect for Uzbekistan, the growing friendship between the two countries, and their firm commitment to developing bilateral relations.
The Order of the Republic of Serbia is awarded to prominent foreign figures for their outstanding contributions to strengthening peace, cooperation, and mutual understanding among peoples, as well as to the development of friendly relations with the country.
