At the beginning of the meeting, Bo Li conveyed warm greetings and best wishes from IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva to the President of Uzbekistan.

The parties emphasized the need to expand expert and technical assistance in developing macroeconomic policy and a digital payments strategy, liberalizing capital movement, improving national statistical methodology and public revenue management, and maintaining a free exchange rate.
