Projects in the field of tourism and urban planning were presented
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the presentation of projects in the field of tourism and construction on April 14.
At a video conference call On April 9, the head of our state emphasized that thanks to the rich history, culture and unique nature of Uzbekistan, the number of tourists can be increased by 2-3 times.
One of the promising places for the development of tourism is the “Chorvok Darvosasi” complex in the Bostanlyk district. Last December, the President personally inspected the progress of its construction, and the first stage of the project was recently completed. The complex includes 16 apartment buildings, 3 hotels, retail and household facilities, cafes and restaurants, a bank office and a parking lot. Solar panels will be installed on the roofs of the buildings.
During the presentation, further stages of development of the complex and measures to increase its tourist attractiveness were presented. An initiative was also voiced to build a small hydroelectric power station on the Chirchik River to provide the facility with inexpensive and environmentally friendly electricity.
Another project is the construction of an aquarium in the Yashnabad district of the capital. The new tourist site will occupy an area of 20 hectares on the banks of the Chirchik River. It is planned to build a shopping and hotel complex nearby, which will create 1.6 thousand new jobs.
Also, in the Yakkasaray district it is planned to build a housing and business complex with multi-storey buildings, kindergartens, schools, sports and health centers, a hotel and office space.
The President noted the need to comprehensively consider the legal, financial and infrastructural aspects of the projects and instructed to develop a clear action plan. Responsible persons are instructed to accurately determine deadlines and quality requirements, as well as ensure strict control over implementation.
