Congratulations to the people of Uzbekistan on the holiday of Kurban Hayit
Dear compatriots!
I sincerely, from the bottom of my heart, congratulate you, all Muslims of the country, all our people on on the great, sacred holiday of Kurban Hayit and I express to you my deep respect and best wishes.
First of all, we thank the Almighty for the fact that together with our people in an atmosphere of peace and tranquility we celebrate this blessed holiday of Eid al-Adha, which is of great importance for the entire Islamic ummah.
Of course, in building a social, truly people's state in recent years in New Uzbekistan, strengthening its spiritual foundations, the sacred religion of Islam and one of its main holidays, Kurban Hayit, also play an important role.
It should be emphasized that the values of this holiday, such as humanism, cohesion, mercy and generosity, are consonant with the large-scale reforms being implemented in our country on basis of the noble principle “In the name of man, in the name of his happiness”, and serve to increase the effectiveness of our programs to support the needy sections of the population, to show special care for the older generation, youth and women, to reduce poverty.
Dear friends!
Today in our country a huge amount of work is being done to further strengthen interethnic and interfaith harmony, ensure freedom of conscience, preserve our spiritual and educational heritage, educating the younger generation on the basis of national and universal values.
Speaking of this, it should be noted that special attention is paid to the in-depth study and wide popularization of the humanistic principles of the religion of Islam, the pearls of our culture and history, the rich heritage of outstanding thinkers. Thus, the city of Samarkand in 2025 was declared the capital of Islamic culture, the 1155th anniversary of our great compatriot Imam Maturidi is widely celebrated, the number of international research centers operating in Uzbekistan will soon include the Bahouddin Naqshband Research Center, which will begin its activities this year in the city of Bukhara.
A unique project of a scientific and spiritual direction - the Center of Islamic Civilization being built in Tashkent - is of great interest in the country and the international community. I am convinced that the discovery of this bright symbol of our ancient multi-thousand-year history, rich and unique national culture will become an important event in the life of New Uzbekistan.
Dear compatriots!
On these blessed days, 15 thousand Uzbek citizens are making the sacred pilgrimage of Hajj. In such bright moments, when good thoughts come true, we sincerely congratulate them on Kurban Hayit and ask the Almighty for their safe return to their homeland.
I hope that they will contribute to further strengthening of unity in our society, an atmosphere of kindness and mercy in families and mahallas, providing assistance to people in need of support, and instilling aspirations among young people to master sciences, knowledge, modern professions, to be defenders of the Motherland.
Today, when our hearts are filled with joy, we sincerely congratulate our compatriots abroad on the holiday, wish them health, happiness and success.
We also sincerely congratulate the entire Muslim ummah of the near and far abroad, We wish their peoples and countries peace, prosperity and prosperity.
Dear compatriots!
We all see how difficult and alarming the situation is in the world. In conditions of such tension, only by maintaining an atmosphere of peace, mutual respect and harmony in the country, and by selflessly working, will we be able to achieve our great goals.
Our courageous and noble people, who have worthily overcome many trials throughout their history, are certainly capable of solving such important problems.
I am convinced that on this path, the kindness, mercy and unity inherent in our people will become a source of strength and energy.
Once again, from the bottom of my heart I congratulate all of you, my dears, on the holy holiday of Kurban Hayit, I wish peace, tranquility, health and prosperity to your families.
