Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Olimjon Abdullaev met with Valery Sherin, Acting Governor of the Kaliningrad Region.
During the talks, the parties discussed issues related to further expanding cooperation between Uzbekistan and Russia, with a particular focus on developing trade, economic and investment ties.
The sides reviewed opportunities for making effective use of the economic potential of interregional cooperation and implementing joint projects in industrial cooperation, logistics, agriculture, the food industry and other promising sectors.
They also exchanged views on improving mechanisms of interregional cooperation and ensuring the regular organization of mutual visits and business missions.
