Issues of further improving the mechanisms of dialogue between government bodies and the population were discussed
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev was presented with information about the work aimed at increasing the efficiency of communication between government bodies and the population.
Under the conditions large-scale transformations taking place in all spheres of state and public life, the importance of improving the system of working with citizens’ appeals, expanding the capabilities of People’s Receptions, introducing modern approaches into their activities, as well as a deeper study of public opinion and taking it into account when making decisions is increasing.
It is emphasized that for an accurate and comprehensive understanding of the sentiments, needs and expectations of the population it is necessary to use modern professional sociological and analytical methods. This is an important factor for obtaining objective information about the effectiveness of reforms and developing long-term development programs.
The President of our country noted that the consistent strengthening of the culture of dialogue with the people, the ability to hear citizens and make decisions taking into account their opinions should be the main principle of the activities of government bodies.
It is again indicated that one of the main tasks of public authorities and management, local executive authorities is not only a prompt response to appeals, but also their systematic analysis, comparison with the results of sociological research and development of the necessary solutions, and in general improving the quality of dialogue and strengthening trust between the state and society.
The need to further strengthen the institutional foundations of constant interaction between the authorities and the population, the formation of a modern model based on new approaches and linked to the system of studying public opinion was emphasized.
Based on the results of the discussion, the responsible persons were given appropriate instructions to improve the mechanisms of dialogue with the population and increase the efficiency of working with citizens' appeals.
