About the meeting with the Ambassador of Lithuania
On November 12, a meeting was held between the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Olimjon Abdullayev and the Ambassador of Lithuania to Uzbekistan (with residence in Astana) Egidijus Navikas.
During the meeting, issues of bilateral cooperation in the field of labor migration were discussed, including the acceleration of the signing of intergovernmental agreements, the organization consular consultations, as well as measures to combat illegal migration and radicalization.
The parties confirmed their mutual interest in maintaining a constant dialogue and agreed on joint measures to strengthen cooperation.
