The official visit of the President of Uzbekistan to Turkey has begun
The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and his wife arrived on an official visit to the city of Ankara.
At the Esenboga International Airport, the distinguished guests were met by the President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his wife.
The national flags of the two countries were raised and a guard of honor was formed.
A brief meeting of the heads of the two states took place with the participation of the first ladies.
During conversations, the leaders exchanged views on the further expansion of Uzbek-Turkish relations of a comprehensive strategic partnership.
Today, the fourth meeting of the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council will be held at the Ak Saray residence.
During the negotiations, issues of expanding practical cooperation in political, trade-economic, investment, transport, energy, cultural, humanitarian and other priority areas.
Ankara will also host the opening ceremony of the Uzbekistan residential complex in the Arsuz district of Hatay province and the launch of the construction of an Uzbek school in Istanbul.
