On October 18, 2026, on the sidelines of the 52nd Session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Baghdad, First Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhromjon Aloyev met with OIC Secretary-General Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed.
On October 18, 2026, on the sidelines of the 52nd Session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Baghdad, First Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhromjon Aloyev met with OIC Secretary-General Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed.
The meeting focused on current issues of Uzbekistan’s cooperation with the OIC, prospects for further strengthening cooperation, and promoting joint initiatives within the Organization.
The sides also exchanged views on current regional and international issues, as well as priority areas of multilateral cooperation.
