Meeting held on further developing Uzbekistan’s cooperation with international regional organizations
On September 30, 2026, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Mirvokhid Azimov held a meeting focused on further developing the country’s cooperation within international regional organizations.
The meeting was attended by representatives of relevant ministries and agencies, research and higher education institutions. Participants exchanged views on the priority areas and prospects for multilateral cooperation.
Particular attention was paid to cooperation in the political and diplomatic, trade and economic, transport and logistics, investment, science and education, and cultural and humanitarian fields. The importance of making effective use of existing opportunities, engaging scientific and expert expertise more extensively, and advancing concrete, practical initiatives was emphasized.
