The leaders of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan held talks
On December 11, upon arrival in the city of Ashgabat, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting with the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
The head of our state sincerely congratulated the leader of Turkmenistan on the historical date - the thirtieth anniversary of permanent Neutrality and wished the success of tomorrow's International Forum dedicated to this significant date.
During the conversation, special attention was paid to issues of further expansion Uzbek-Turkmen relations of strategic partnership, friendship and good neighborliness, primarily in the political, interparliamentary, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres.
The leaders of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan also considered current issues of the regional and international agenda.
