The leaders of Uzbekistan and Russia held a telephone conversation
The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev had a telephone conversation with the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
At the beginning of the conversation, the head of our state warmly congratulated the leader and the multinational people of Russia on the upcoming national holiday - Russia Day.
Issues of further strengthening the Uzbek-Russian relations of comprehensive strategic partnership and alliance, as well as expanding multifaceted cooperation in the context of the implementation of agreements at summit meetings were considered.
Particular attention was paid to the issues of taking coordinated measures in order to maintain the dynamics of mutual trade turnover and support industrial cooperation projects.
The importance of continuing active exchange and practical interaction at the regional level of the two countries was noted.
Deep satisfaction was also expressed with the rich cultural program of events regularly held in Uzbekistan and Russia.
