The leaders of Uzbekistan and Russia held a telephone conversation
On August 17, a telephone conversation took place between the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
Current aspects of the international and bilateral agenda were discussed.
The President of Russia informed the leader of our country about the main results of the Russian-American summit, held on August 15 in Anchorage.
The head of our state, having supported the agreements reached, expressed hope for a speedy resolution of the situation around Ukraine.
The issues of taking coordinated measures aimed at maintaining the current dynamics were also considered trade and economic cooperation and acceleration of the implementation of priority projects of cooperation between enterprises of Uzbekistan and Russia. The importance of continuing active contacts and exchanges at all levels was noted.
