On June 3, 2026, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Mirvokhid Azimov met with Won Do Yeon, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to Uzbekistan.
During the talks, the current issues of the Uzbekistan–Korea Special Strategic Partnership, including the further development of political dialogue as well as trade and economic cooperation were discussed.
The parties also reviewed preparations for the events and exchanges scheduled to take place at various levels throughout the current year.
