The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, as part of a business program in New York City, held a meeting with the Chairman of the NASDAQ Stock Exchange, Adena Friedman.
NASDAQ is one of the world's leading financial market operators, managing assets worth more than $30 trillion.
Plans to modernize the Tashkent Stock Exchange and create an integrated infrastructure for trading government bonds were considered.
