Worthy representatives of medicine and pharmaceuticals were honored
Among the recipients there are young doctors who have completed training and internship at leading foreign universities, as well as foreign partners who provide extensive assistance in strengthening the health of our population.
It is noted that in our country they are being carried out at an accelerated pace reforms aimed at sustainable economic development, creating jobs and sources of income, modern youth education and improving public health.
As a result, the capacity of primary care institutions increased by 60 percent, and medical care became much closer to the population. More than 400 high-tech diagnostic and treatment methods, previously performed mainly in the capital, have been introduced in the regions. Hundreds of complex operations began to be carried out at the regional level, minimally invasive interventions - at the district level.
“ For the first time, kidney transplantation operations have been established in 45 districts - this is a clear confirmation of our practical work in protecting human health,” the President said. – Life expectancy in our country has increased: for men – from 71 to 73 years, for women – from 76 to 77.5 years. This is our great joint success. In these good deeds, a worthy contribution belongs to more than 600 thousand dedicated healthcare workers, and no matter how much gratitude we express, it will not be enough.
The President solemnly presented state awards and congratulated the recipients on behalf of all our people.
