On June 25, 2026, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Mirvokhid Azimov met with Ufuk Ulutas, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Türkiye to Uzbekistan.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state and prospects of the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries, as well as issues of further intensifying bilateral and multilateral ties in the fields of trade, tourism, and education.
The parties also exchanged views on current issues related to the Organization of Turkic States, including efforts to strengthen cooperation and preparations for events planned within the Organization this year.
